Youth Service

Students can participate in local, regional and global service projects at Discovery Middle School. The 8th grade class participates in The Day of Caring, a day in which the eighth graders go out into the community in groups of approximately 10 students with an adult chaperone and provide help to those in need in our area. The help is mostly with outdoor tasks that they could use assistance with. Anyone can apply to have a group come to their home/neighborhood.
